How do I go about getting a massage?
We strongly encourage you to call after 3 p.m. on the day that you wish to book a massage appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome and can usually be accommodated. However, reservations do fill quickly during peak times. (You may also book your massage up to 7 days prior to the day you wish a massage.) (back)

What can I expect?
We ask that you arrive to the club at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment in order to shower, settle in and relax. You will be treated with respect and professionalism the moment you walk in our door. We will ask to see your membership card, or government ID and will request that you read our house guidelines.
The massage practitioner will meet you in our first floor lounge area by calling out your first name and then guide you to one of our private, comfortably heated massage rooms.
Your practitioner may ask if you have any recent injuries or have any physical limitations that he should be aware of while he is doing a massage with you.
You may request that he focus on specific areas of your body; such as a painful lower back or tight shoulder and neck muscles or leg muscles tired from touring around the hills of San Francisco. All of our practitioners are trained in deep tissue massage techniques. Immediately tell him if anything that he does during the massage becomes uncomfortable so that he can adjust the massage to suit your needs. (back)

What? ...Professional non-sexual massage at a sex club?
Yes, it's true. EROS as an institution offers a rich experience for the body and soul exemplified by the art gallery in our lounge, special events such as discussion groups, poetry readings, art receptions, etc. So in that respect, we offer a real, professional massage experience. (No kidding, no wink, wink, nod, nod.) The EROS massage Studio maintains its massage license with the City and County of San Francisco and adheres strictly to all the guidelines issued to the San Francisco Department of Public Health. Should I play before or after my massage?
That depends on you. Some guys find the massage invigorating and gets them raring to go afterwards. Others guys find that the massage is the ultimate afterglow. In any case, it is a good idea to have a nice warm shower so that you can be relaxed, clean and ready for an expert massage session. (back)

Do I have to pay extra to play in the rest of the club?
Absolutely not! A massage entry allows full use of our facility: playrooms, showers, steamroom, and sauna, common lounge area and outdoor deck. (back)

Am I going to be naked during the massage?
Again, this depends on what you and your practitioner are comfortable with. Whether you're more comfortable wearing skivvies, shorts, a swimsuit, jock strap, a thong, or just just in your birthday suit, it is up to you. Your practitioner may drape a towel across the genital and butt area during the massage. (back)

What if I get an erection?
It is perfectly natural to get an erection during a non-sexual massage. For many guys, an erection is just their body's natural response to receiving soothing, nurturing and sensual touch. Your massage practitioner understands this and will comfortably continue with a professional massage session. As a client, you need to know that there is no expectation of a sexual response from your practitioner within the massage room.
EROS management requires that the massage practitioner end the session and ask the client to immediately leave the massage room if he receives inappropriate overtures from his client and/or inappropriate touching occurs. (back)

What about tipping?
Tips are always appreciated. A tip for a job well done can customarily range from 15% to 20%. Tip envelopes are available in the massage room or near the checkout desk. The massage tip box may also be found on the wall next to the checkout window. (back)
